About Me
Hello, my name is Jessica Krausankas and I am 17 years old. I am a junior attending William T Dwyer High School and am a dedicated student-athlete. I have been playing volleyball since I was eight-years old, starting my first travel season at age nine.
Volleyball has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother is who initially introduced me to the sport who has had past experiences with it throughout her lifetime. When I was younger, I used to go to the park everyday with my dad and work on perfecting as many things as possible at such a young age. I have played multiple positions during my career such as libero (before my growth spurt), middle blocker, and now, a right side hitter. I have always to be open to trying out new positions and for broadening my involvement with multiple areas on the court.
It has been my dream to continue to play volleyball in college. This sport has taught me many different lessons, brought me friendships that will last a lifetime, and my one wish is to expand that during college and in my future. I truly love this sport and I will continue to work hard and make sacrifices to achieve my goals for the time coming!
